Essentials Workshops (Canterbury)
£20.00
Venue: Station House, Selling, ME13 9PW
**£5 off for East Kent Slings members – contact soshanna@wearmybaby.co.uk for your members-only discount code**
Open to everyone. Ideal for new parents, expectant parents and health, birth and antenatal/postnatal professionals who’d like a general introduction to babywearing.
We’ll explore the benefits of carrying your baby, and the principles of baby carrying safety, comfort and positioning, so you’ll know what makes a good, safe fit.
You’ll learn about the different types of slings on the market – and how to choose the ‘best’ carrier for your needs.
The workshop includes plenty of hands-on time for you to try out a range of baby carriers, wraps and slings. Our demonstration dolls are on hand to practice with, too.
At the end of the workshop, you will have the chance to hire slings and carriers from us, so you can leave with your hands free.
Cost: £20 per person, £30 for a couple. When purchasing simply add 1 or 2 bookings and the correct price (single/couple) will be applied automatically. East Kent Slings members get £5 off – contact soshanna@wearmybaby.co.uk for your members-only discount code to apply at checkout.

About Wear My Baby Workshops & Our Cancellation Policy
You are very welcome to feed, change and attend to your baby during the workshop. Workshops usually last 1.5 hours, but we ask that you allow up to 2 hours to accommodate babies’ and parents/carers needs.
You are welcome to bring your buggies / prams, but at busy times they may need to be folded down to make room for others.
We operate a 48 hour cancellation policy for Wear My Baby Workshops. If you do not attend a workshop or cancelled less than 48 hours in advance, we will not be able to offer a refund.
We appreciate that life with a baby makes it hard to plan ahead, but as workshops are only for small groups, missed slots mean that other families miss out on attending.
