Bigger Babies Workshops (Various Locations)

Venue: Wear My Baby Boutique, 19 Thrale Road, London, SW16 1NS 

A workshop for with those with babies aged 3-18 months+, who are looking for supportive and comfy carrying options to meet their babies’ changing needs.

You’ll learn the principles of carrying your growing baby safely and comfortably and find out about carrying positions ideal for ‘nosey’ babies who want to look around! We’ll enable you to confidently carry your baby/toddler in whatever sling you choose to use, even as they get heavier and may want come up and down regular.

You’ll get to try out buckled carriers, ring slings and tie-on carriers (Meh Dais) to see what works best for your family.

Our demonstration dolls are on hand, if you’d like to practice with them first.

At the end of the session you will have the chance to hire or buy slings and carriers from us, so you can leave with your hands free.

Cost: £20 per person, £30 for a couple. When purchasing simply add 1 or 2 bookings and the correct price (single/couple) will be applied automatically.

About Wear My Baby Workshops & Our Cancellation Policy

You are very welcome to feed, change and attend to your baby during the workshop. Workshops usually last 1.5 hours, but we ask that you allow up to 2 hours to accommodate babies’ and parents/carers needs.

You are welcome to bring your buggies / prams, but at busy times they may need to be folded down to make room for others.

We operate a 48 hour cancellation policy for Wear My Baby Workshops. If you do not attend a workshop or cancelled less than 48 hours in advance, we will not be able to offer a refund.

We appreciate that life with a baby makes it hard to plan ahead, but as workshops are only for small groups, missed slots mean that other families miss out on attending.

    We tried finding a sling or baby carrier on our own and wasted a lot of money. It was very fortunate that I found this workshop because with Emily’s help I understood what was the problem. She recommended different carriers and I rented one to properly test it for longer period which helped to convince my partner to give another go to carriers. We both absolutely loved the carrier – little one was even sleeping in it for hours! I can’t thank Emily enough
