Ring slings are gorgeous. They’re also one of the few styles of baby carrier that are genuinely well suited to carrying both newborns and toddlers. No wonder they’re so popular.
They are often touted as quick and easy to use, but in reality, many people find them tricky to get the hang of. How do you make a good ‘seat’ for baby? How do you stop the rings ending up too low? How do you tighten the fabric properly?
Emily – our Lead Consultant and longtime ring sling aficionado – has two ring sling tutorials for you. One with a newborn baby, and another with a bigger baby (approx 5 months+). There are many different ring sling techniques that you can use – these are just two of many options and variation you can try.
